On your back, you will have realized there is a nether brick stairway.
But a glass wall detains from any entrance.
The stairs are still in its original design with the 18th Century materials.
They actually should have been replaced, because they are just about to fall apart.
They are not safe. There structure has suffered important damages that cannot be fixed any more.
Yet, due to the cultural heritage laws, we were forced to keep them in the original, even though they are no longer functioning.
Therefore, we built this glass vitrine, so one might see the original setting.
For our daily need of going up and down the floors we had to build an elevator.
