Elevator
Given that for vertical moves between the floors, we were obliged to place an elevator in order to have an alternative option substituting the antique stairs. An alternative stairway wasn’t really an option neither. Since this would have forced us to destroy some of the old and valuable ceilings.The solution was an elevator, which also allowed to make the home accessible for wheelchair users.
But, it must be place in the available space, and therefore, it had to use a very SMALL redstone mechanism.
There were a few demands to fulfil. It should ...
a) be multi-level, stopping on each level;
b) have an up-and-down function;
c) be tiny to fit into the architecture
This was my architects solution.
This elevator moves you between 4 different floors:
- 1 Cellar
0 Ground floor
1 Mezzanine
2 First floor
