Book 6: The Room Design

Let me take this opportunity and tell you something more about the room design.

All rooms have a different thematic design, sometimes given by the antique elements of its original architecture.

Ground floor

1. Saloon

This was formerly the smoker room.

The matte green glazed tiled chimney was installed in this building from its beginning. Even though, we have found some receipts that prove its older origin. Apparently, it was a 17th Century French chimney dismantled and shipped all the way to here in order to be rebuilt.

2. Kitchen

The original kitchen was completely useless and ugly. Therefore, we had the opportunity to install a modern kitchen with a large oven island, fridge and ice machine.

3. Toilette room

This small toilette room is mostly used by the service personnel and our guests when dining here.
It is simple but elegant, fully designed in smooth quartz.

4. Dining room

The dining room consists of three areas.
The dining area holds a large table where you can sit around by right clicking the chair and clicking shift to stand up.
There is a small area with the window seat. Its charm comes from the prismarin lamps changing its colours every now and then. We brought them from one of our trips to Poseidon’s reign.
Finally, the sofa area at the fireplace. Put some music in the jukebox to make ambience.
